Facelift garden

Last long holiday of year end i spent my time doing my secret garden after long time been delayed. I called this project as ‘My secret garden’ because of the area is small and hidden from people view. It is actually a small courtyard from the side of main entrance.

This is how it looks like when i moved to the new house a few moths back. All the plants and grasses look so fresh and green.

..And this is what happen. All the grasses are dying and i found out that the grass is very hard to maintain. I need to cut/trim every 3 months or less ,so my solution is to removed all the grasses and replace with something else. The best material i would think is stone.

I went to Sungai Buloh looking for plants, fish pond and  water fountain according to my initial planned . After a few surveys i made finally i found this one.. just nice for my garden because of its size and design. The fish pond size that i bought is 4×2 feet. I want something simple and nice. My concept that I’m trying to archived is Balinese landscape using combination of stones and concrete prints.
